ResponseMX is a development platform for building intuitive, rich and engaging web mapping applications; it is used by a diverse range of organisations to deliver business critical applications.
My Neighbourhood - View site
Dotted Eyes worked in conjunction with West Midlands Police to develop MyNeighbourhood, a crime mapping website. The Home Secretary, Jacqui Smith, when visiting West Midlands Police to view the site and outline her plans for crime mapping, commented: "I want to congratulate the West Midlands police force for being among the first to develop this new tool.” A new version of the site will be launched in September 2008. Call us on 01527 556920 for more information or to request our guide to crime mapping.

The UK Legal Deposit Libraries (The Bodleian Library, Oxford; the British Library; Cambridge University Library; the National Libraries of Scotland and Wales; and Trinity College, Dublin) use ResponseMX to display the annual archive of large scale data supplied by Ordnance Survey including OS MasterMap and Land-Line. It enables a range of users from specific computer terminals within the Legal Deposit Libraries to view, compare and analyse large scale digital maps.
The Countryside Council for Wales - View site
The Countryside Council for Wales uses ResponseMX as its corporate GIS solution, both on the internet and intranet. CCW’s intranet map browser GISelle allows all CCW employees to access a wealth of GIS data. CCW’s public website includes a number of applications built using ResponseMX including the Countryside access map and Protected areas map applications.
The Youth Hostel Association - View site
The Youth Hostel Association required a mapping tool to provide users of the website with information on the location of their camping barns and hostels. ResponseMX is integrated with the site’s Content Management System (CMS) to produce regional maps and a simple ResponseMX map browser is available allowing users to view travel information and local information pages centred on a specific hostel.
Somerset County Council - View site
Somerset County Council uses ResponseMX to display its Historic Environment Record (HER). This is a database of information on archaeological sites, monuments and buildings in the current county of Somerset. The site displays geographical information stored in the HER over a range of Ordnance Survey mapping and also gives visitors the chance to use modern and historical aerial photography as the backdrop layer.
Cannock Chase District Council - View site
Cannock Chase uses ResponseMX both on its intranet and internet. Linking into a range of datasets, plus their BS7666 database, this corporate GIS allows the public and internal users to find information quickly and on-demand.
