Dotted Eyes works very closely with Ordnance Survey, which relies on our loading tools to produce almost all the illustrations of OS MasterMap in its marketing materials and on its web site www.ordnancesurvey.co.uk.

That’s how we ensure SuperpOSe Server is future-proof. When Ordnance Survey adds further data to OS MasterMap or changes the specification, we aim to update SuperpOSe Server before the new data product is even released.

All layers of OS MasterMap data can be loaded into a spatial database – the Topography Layer, ITN Layer and Address Layer 2. There’s no need for expensive add-ons.

SuperpOSe Server includes FME Oracle Edition. This enables more than 180 formats to be loaded into and extracted from the spatial database. No other loader offers this flexibility as standard.

SuperpOSe Server offers fast and easy loading. Updating is simple, as change-only updates can be applied easily.

SuperpOSe Server gives peace of mind. It can process the optional Feature Validation Data Set (FVDS) from Ordnance Survey, to check that the spatial database contains the correct features, based on both TOID and Version. This is particularly useful after applying a number of updates.

SuperpOSe Server is cost-effective. A shared data repository reduces the cost of acquiring and updating data, and the intuitive interface means there’s no need for consultancy, yet it is flexible enough to allow the full power of the database to be exposed, if required.

SuperpOSe Server ensures interoperability. The spatial database can be accessed from all GIS and CAD applications – such as those from ESRI, MapInfo, Autodesk and Cadcorp as well as Oracle Application Server; any client that supports the Oracle database.

SuperpOSe Server is the market leader. It is used for both national and regional data sets in the public sector and private sector, and several customers have migrated to it after trying other loaders.
