Address-Point Gazetteer and Geocoder

Address-Point Gazetteer and Geocoder is an extension to MapInfo Professional that makes it easy to use ADDRESS-POINT or Address Layer data from Ordnance Survey.

The software imports these files into a database shared by MapInfo Professional and the Gazetteer software, allowing users to link their own address records with Ordnance Survey address data and plot the address onto a map.

Users simply enter an address into the search box. Fuzzy logic matches this to the Ordnance Survey Address data so the closest matching records are returned.

Fuzzy Logic capabilities ensures addresses are found even when entries are incomplete, mixed upper and lower case, abbreviated or contain spelling mistakes.
