TransportMap OSNI technical information
A workspace file (for use in MapInfo Professional GIS) or project file (for use in ESRI ArcView/GIS) opens all the layers and sets zoom layer thresholds that determine when the layers are visible.
The Irish Transverse Mercator Grid co-ordinate system is used.
The location of features is accurate to within 10m. This is within one pixel on screen at scales of up to 1:40,000.
The storage space required is approximately 1.2Gb for NI coverage, in MapInfo TAB format.
Main formats available: MapInfo TAB, ESRI SHP, AutoCAD DXF, Illustrator EPS and others.
TransportMap OSNI is licensed for one year for internal business use by all users on a specified number of sites, and includes hard copy prints up to A3 in size. Publishing on the Internet may require the next multi-user pricing band.
After the first year there is an annual charge equal to the initial price, including one update per year.
