ADDRESS-View, from the Ordnance Survey ADDRESS-POINT, provides precise coordinates for more than 27 million residential and commercial properties in Great Britain (not including Isle of Man) – the most accurate and up-to-date link between any property address and its location on the map. ADDRESS-POINT originates from the Royal Mail's master postcode address file (PAF).

- Same data structure as PAF, with additional postal address field in normal envelope-style format;
- Simple positional quality indicator, from A (within building) to Z (no co-ordinates);

- Includes locality names of parishes and suburban areas;
- Fits precisely with CoverMap RASTER and VECTOR product derived from OS MasterMap Topography Layer dataset;
- Available as either full national coverage or by Government Office Region.
ADDRESS-View technical information
A workspace (for use in MapInfo Professional GIS) or project file (for use in ESRI ArcView/GIS) is supplied.
Suitable for scales on screen in the range 1:10,000 to 1:100. The resolution of coordinates is 0.01m. Each point with the highest positional quality indicator falls within the footprint of the associated building in CoverMap, the most detailed mapping available.
The British National Grid co-ordinate system is used.
The storage space required is about 23GB for full GB coverage in MapInfo TAB format.
Main formats available: MapInfo TAB, ESRI SHP, AutoCAD DXF, Illustrator EPS and others.
ADDRESS-View is licensed for internal business use by a specified number of users and includes hard copy prints. Publishing on the Internet may be licensed by special arrangement.
After the first year there is an annual charge equal to the initial price, including one update per year.
