TopoMap OSNI (Ordnance Survey of Northern Ireland 1:50,000 Scale Vector)
TopoMap OSNI is based on part of the Ordnance Survey of Northern Ireland (OSNI) Small Scale (1:50,000 Scale) dataset, made up of vector layers. It consists of lakes, urban areas, plus rivers, canals and the coastline together with text labels for settlements and water features.

TopoMap OSNI technical information
A workspace (for use in MapInfo Professional GIS) or project file (for use in ESRI ArcView/GIS) opens all the layers and sets zoom layer thresholds that determine when the layers are visible.
Suitable for scales on screen in the range 1:2,000,000 to 1:20,000. More layers become visible as you zoom in.
The location of boundaries is accurate to within 50m. This is within one pixel on screen at scales of up to 1:200,000.
The Irish Transverse Mercator Grid co-ordinate system is used. The coastline fits closely with RangerMap OSNI.
The storage space required is about 40Mb for full NI coverage in MapInfo TAB format.
Main formats available: MapInfo TAB, ESRI SHP, AutoCAD DXF, Illustrator EPS and others.
TopoMap OSNI is licensed for internal business use by a specified number of users and includes hard copy prints up to A3 in size. Publishing on the Internet can require the next multi-user pricing band.
After the first year there is an annual charge equal to the initial price, including one update per year.
