GazetteerMap (Ordnance Survey 1:50,000 Scale Gazetteer)
GazetteerMap is based on the Ordnance Survey 1:50,000 Scale Gazetteer dataset. made up of a set of point locations in GB (including the Isle of Man). It consists of the names included in RangerMap, with coordinates at the centre of the 1km grid square containing the start of each name.

- Find and centre the map on the names of settlements, farms, natural features, lakes and reservoirs;
- Fit closely with RangerMap product derived from Ordnance Survey 1:50,000 Scale Colour Raster dataset;
- Available as full national coverage or smaller ‘cut-out’ extracts (priced per record).
GazetteerMap technical information
Suitable for scales on screen in the range 1:5,000,000 to 1:50,000.
The British National Grid co-ordinate system is used. All locations fit closely with RangerMap (derived from 1:50,000 Scale Colour Raster from Ordnance Survey).
The storage space required is about 208Mb for full GB coverage in MapInfo TAB format.
Main formats available: MapInfo TAB, ESRI SHP, AutoCAD DXF, Illustrator EPS and others.
GazetteerMap is licensed for internal business use by a specified number of users. Publishing on the Internet may count as a single user, depending on the application.
After the first year there is an annual charge equal to the initial price, including one update per year.
