TransportMap (OS MasterMap Integrated Transport Network Layer)
TransportMap is based on the full OS MasterMap Integrated Transport Network (ITN) Layer, covering GB (not including the Isle of Man). It consists of the most accurate, detailed and up-to-date digital map for Great Britain's road network (RN). There is also additional Road Routing Information (RRI) data containing comprehensive restriction and advisory route information and weight/width restrictions. TransportMap is only available for fleet management or consumer website purposes. Please ask for further information.

TransportMap features & use
- All features in ITN, including one-way streets, traffic calming and mini roundabouts;
- Driving restriction information (e.g. No entry or Low bridge);
- Includes road names and DfT classified route numbers;
- 29 road types (e.g. Primary A class dual carriageway);
- Upper level bridges and road links indicate were one road crosses over another;
- Access limitations and restrictions;
- Includes locality names of parishes and suburban areas;
- Can be formatted as routing data for use in data analysis software;
- Includes custom symbols created by Dotted Eyes for traffic restrictions;
- Available as full national GB coverage or smaller ‘cut-out’ extracts for any user-defined area (priced per vector feature/record).
TransportMap technical information
A workspace file (for use in MapInfo Professional GIS) or project file (for use in ESRI ArcView/GIS) opens all the layers and sets zoom layer thresholds that determine when the layers are visible.
The British National Grid co-ordinate system is used.
The storage space required is approximately 2.6Gb for GB coverage (TransportMap Roads) or 3.5Gb (TransportMap Routing - includes Roads), in MapInfo TAB format.
Main formats available: MapInfo TAB, ESRI SHP, AutoCAD DXF, Illustrator EPS and others.
TransportMap is licensed for one year for internal business use by all users on a specified number of sites, and includes hard copy prints up to A3 in size. Publishing on the Internet is not licensed. Updates are available by ordering the product afresh.
